Well, I kinda still do it, but just differently. I joined Facebook and so I feel like I micro-blog every day.

And then I am also doing the photo of the day project again (though, once again I’m not good at remembering to take a photo every single day) and I post pretty lengthy comments there so that’s like mini-blogging, but I don’t really post much more.

But then again I only had a couple of readers. One rarely gets online anymore, and the other one decided that she didn’t want to be my friend anymore.
So maybe there isn’t a point to this…

I felt like I was doubling my efforts all the time, so instead of posting the Photo of the Day on here as well as my Picasa account, I’m just doing it there. If I have something more to write about I will. But that account allows me plenty of room to sort of blog as well.

Thursday June 25, 2009. Day 202. Fozzie discovered the 3rd floor and has been raiding it for Murphy’s old toys. I did a little effect-thing on this one because the quality was pretty poor to begin with. Cell phone, taken late at night.

Saturday June 20. 2009. Day 197. Rock the Garden. Man there were a lot of people there. I’d heard they’d sold 8,000 tix but it seemed like more than that.

The bands were: Solid Gold, Yeasayers , Calexico, and The Decemberists. We showed up in the middle of Calexico’s set and stayed for about 5 songs of the Decemberists. It was just too crowded, we couldn’t see much of anything. The sound was ok but honestly it would have been just as enjoyable to listen to the album at home.

But the concert was cool. It was nice to sit on the grass in that awesome area (Walker Art center) and hang out with friends, have a brat, and chill. Oh, and the people watching was spectacular. not as many mullets as the State Fair, but lots of drunk emo children in hippie clothing.

Friday June 19, 2009. Day 196. Rachel and Bryan were in town and we went to happy hour at Roat then watched Twilight (with Rifftrax) and Werewolf (another MST3K). But I forgot to take photos. So I snapped this one when we went to bed at about 2 minutes to midnight.

Thursday June 18, 2009. Day 195. I woke Suki from her nap on the porch railing. The rarely comes home now, except to eat. So it was nice to see her catching some zzzs at home.
