So almost all my websites are down. Seems there’s a connectivity issue with a server somewhere in Cyberland and Collected Sounds is down. That makes me not happy. I can’t get email either.

Gosh, I’ve been a very bad blogger. It’s not that I’ve been in a cave, or too busy or anything like that. I’ve even had things I wanted to write about. Something would happen and I’d think, ‘oh hey, there’s something I can talk about’ so why no blog you ask?

Well, I’ve been smitten by another blogger. Alicia sent me the URL for this woman’s page and have spent the last few weeks reading her blog. No, it’s not that she writes super long entries. It’s that once I knew I liked her, I wanted to read from the beginning. The blog is just over a year old, so I had to go back a year to catch up.

I mean, honestly, how could I fully sympathize with her that her cats are sick without having seen millions of photos of them in past entries?

Oh of course I could, I’m an animal lover. But it helps. Plus, I’m nosey and love the idea of getting into people’s shit.

OK so you want to know who it is? Here she is Crazy Aunt Purl (it’s a knitting blog, sort of, hence the “purl”).

Go visit. Her writing style is addictive.

I’m caught up now, so I will hopefully get back to writing about my own life instead of reading about someone else’s.
