Am I the only one who knows you are not supposed to put lettuce down the garbage disposal?

Last night I was making dinner and I pulled out the lettuce we bought the night before. It was wilted. It was one of those bags of three heads that has writing all over the package so you can’t really see what’s inside. But a cursory glance at the store told me it was fine. 24 hours later when I went to make salad it was a wilted bag of crap. I just found out that the best soap opera in the world, “Passions” is being canceled.

They better leave it on long enough for me to find out who Chad is cheating on Whitney with. I SO hope it’s a man. If you remember, they are the couple that for a while, were brother and sister, but they had a kid together. Now they’re not related anymore and just got married a couple of weeks ago.

Also I was starting to like Luis since he dumped that harpy, Sheridan. Not that Fancy was much better. But she was sassy. I liked that.

Will Teresa and Ethan ever get together? Will that bitch Gwen ever get what’s coming to her?

I’m really going to miss witchy Tabitha and the smoldering black cauldron she uses to spy on townsfolk. Endora and her magic spells that she throws around the room. Yes, Endora–she’s Tabitha’s child, of course. What’s that you say? A sixty year old woman can’t have a child? Well Tabby’s a witch and she’s like 900 years old. Plus she’s a witch…magic? Hello? I just heard that the inventor of the Ramen Noodle died today.
I have to thank him for a lot of good meals. And no I’m not being funny. I love those noodles and still eat them to this day.

First of all, I like Rosie, but I’m not always on her side. I thought the Clay Aitkin debacle was horrid. By saying what she did, she totally outted him when he wished to keep that private. And plus, why was Kelly Ripa’s comment “gay bashing�? People have been saying, “I don’t know where that hand has been� for eons. You’re telling me that has always been a gay bashing statement? Whatever. I was NOT on her side on that one. But this….

When he was trying to defend himself for calling Rosie “fat loser� he said basically, “well she said I had bad hair!� (aka, ‘but mom, she started it!’) Then he said something about how he would rather be fat than have bad hair.

Oh really now? You can change your hair at a moment’s notice. There’s no reason to wear that mop o’ shit on your head. Don’t tell me you can’t afford a good stylist. It takes years to lose weight. We all know about Rosie’s struggle with that. Plus Donald, you ain’t exactly waifish.

Also Rosie did not say that the Miss America should not be given another chance…she said that she didn’t think Donald Trump was a good “moral compass� for 20 year old women. If he’d actually watched the show instead of just freak out, he’d know that.

He said that people are sending him letters thanking him for retaliating and sticking it to Rosie. Riiiight. First of all, nothing will make me believe that he reads his own mail. Secondly, if there are letters I’m sure his staff wrote them. His staff who are probably afraid to tell him he’s got bad hair. He’s only saying that to make it “true�. He’s trying to tell us what’s happening as if we can’t see it.

And the last thing I want to say to him is, “What, are you twelve?�

Honestly, this is a grown man acting like this? He got embarrassed and the only way he could think to try to show how tough he is, is to yell back louder and meaner. Sorry Don, that just makes you look like an ass. A twelve year old ass. It’s so clear he is only playing this stupid game for two reasons…the one mentioned above, he’s embarrassed; and that his new show is on soon and thinks this will bring in ratings. The sad thing is, it probably will.

Corey was reading passages from this book called “Free Drinks for Ladies with Nuts�. It’s a hilarious collection of signage from all over the world. Well, usually it’s signs but there are also menu items and film subtitles. Anyway, they are basically from other countries trying to translate what they mean into English. It’s so funny. I have read the whole book several times and I still laugh.

You can get it on Amazon for as little as penny and it’s worth every…well, one.
