Saturday May 30. 2009. Day 177. Dad’s 77th Birthday. We had a nice dinner at Doolittle’s (which is muchly improved from it’s previous concept). That’s his free dessert, it’s called Chocolate Nirvana. And he’s holding one of our gifts, which is a rubber ducky that squirts water out of his head. Dad may be 77, but he has the whimsy of a 4 year old.

Friday May 29, 2009. Day 176. My Mee Kah Tee. I took the photo because the erect peppers made me laugh. Behind that in the newspaper is salmon that Geoff and Amanda brought us from their trip to Seattle. To the left, a Vodka Tonic, which goes nicely with these yummy curry noodles. Monday May 25, 2009. Memorial Day. We went to Lake Calhoun to have dinner at Tin Fish, which serves the best cheeseburgers ever. It was a lovely day.

Sunday May 24, 2009. Day 171. We went to Burger Jones for the first time. We were all prepared to have yummy burgers, but we had a ton of drinks and fries. And cheese curds. My Wii was not please with me the next morning. But we had a good time, staff was nice, place was packed…I can see it being a favorite. But their happy hour is so damn early I was sleeping on the couch by 7pm.
